You're either really high or refuse to believe facts.I honestly couldn't help but laugh at this.
lol I'm not denying anything, I'm just too lazy to update.I see someone is still in denial that Dr. Mario is in the game.
Lmao facts. Haahaha. You're either really high or refuse to believe facts.
His knockback scaling ranges from 35 (sourspot) to 75 (sweetspot), compared to Lucina's 55. Damage is similarly scaled.well then, where's the proof?
like I said previously, it's a matter of playstyle. His knockback scaling ranges from 35 (sourspot) to 75 (sweetspot), compared to Lucina's 55. Damage is similarly scaled.
In other words, this means that Marth can kill better and has more flexible knockback options than Lucina. Even if you're bad at spacing, accidental tippers will result in more damage and earlier kills than are possible with Lucina. She is, quite simply, easyMarth. Their range difference is negligible, as is their height difference. It's all about the sword.
Characters with disjointed hitboxes (swords and so on) are designed with that range and spacing advantage in mind. If your playstyle is such that you're constantly attempting to bump shoulders with your enemy instead of keeping them at sword's length, then not Marth, Ike, Lucina, or even Roy's closer sweetspots in Melee/Project M are right for you. Playing a character sub-optimally because their design is different from your style is called playing the character badly, and can be fixed by either playing to the character's strengths, or playing different characters.like I said previously, it's a matter of playstyle.
Guess I'll join the party.I know, I know, it's too early. But we're reaching almost 4 months of game play for this game. And before anyone says "oh but the wii u came out a month later so we should count that too", the game technically game out first on 3DS, the game plays the same on the Wii U, so I don't see the difference aside from what kind of controls you use. Anyway, since this is more or less an opinion thread, we're just gonna throw opinions here. So without further ado, let's discuss tiers.

I'm not sure if I forgot anyone, if I did, I'll add them, but this is roughly it.
A few notes though. Villager I left as D tier on here, but he's actually more or less mid, but I feel that a lot of players have a hard time using him. Lucina over Marth because not only does Lucina out range Marth, she is a more fluid character overall. And finally, Samus is not bad, and frankly she deserves more than low tier in here. She has a lot of potential to be better than she was back in Melee, despite not being able to throw out those fast missiles. That said, commence the discussion.
