WTF delfino?

I did shuttle loop under the stage, and then I glided downwards but the platform didn't support me. I fell right through the platform to my death. WTF happened?

I'm not sure if you talking about grabbing the ledge, or trying to go through the grate platform.

Whatever, just try to go towards the end of the grate platform.

I saw this happen in a FFA once. He went through the right-side platform of the Shine Sprite tower on Delfino (4th transformation?)
