Would you consider this controller for Brawl?

Well?

I have a GC controller, and more likely than not, I will keep using it, but well, this caught my eye. I've been wanting a third party classic controller since every single Nintendo controller I've bought since the 64 era always ends up with a flimsy stick after a while. While I thought I'd eventually buy a CC, after a year, my nunchucks are turning flimsy too. So if I see that this one has better sticks I might buy it.

But, I want to hear the public (Smash) opinion on this. While a year or so ago a CC would've of been only for the VC, now it's a possibility for Smash, and I want to see your opinion on this.

Well, basically it's not a third party classic controller. It's a third party gamecube controller designed with different button logos, since it attaches to the gamecube ports to work...

I'm not really going to put my money on third parties... they usually break within a year

i would say why not. its pretty much the same thing but its wireless whitch is pretty cool. depends on how much it costs. and if its cheap and you get it,it looks like its really easy to hook up. i mean you only stick it on the wii mote right. and as for it breaking i really dought it will break any time soon

I've had good luck with third parties, most of the time if a controller will break within a year it looks like it. Dunno if this one seems sturdy though, I'd like to see it IRL.

Certainly not. The Wii Classic Controller is, in the opinion of me and many of my friends, the most perfectly crafted controller that has ever been, and I shall be using it to play Brawl.

Hiding in that one place you cant see.
In my opinion the controller is to big, It looks like the X-Box controller, maybe it is the X-Box controller. It has no C-Stick thats the biggest con.
With the grooves it doesn't look really comfortable to hold.

The redisigned controller is a remake of the classic controller, thats why theres no c-stick and the buttons are the way they are. This controller was made simply because people complained that the classic controller wasn't wireless and was weird.

So they made a weirder one? I like the Classic for SNES games, just not 64 games, but I'm sure that most games they'll release on the VC I already own.

If you scrolled down you'd see that the controller is actually pretty small, and the second analog stick would work as the c-stick(same as classic cont.)

I think it will be more awkward to use the x and y buttons on that controller for jumping than the GC controllers. Which is why I will be sticking with GC controllers if at all possible (if I can continue to find them after they wear out that is.)

Why not?

I can't see why they don't just re-release the gamecube controller for the Wii. Maybe change the colors or whatever, but keep the controller the same. I know I'd rather use the GC controller than any of the new ones for Brawl, or anything on VC. I think the GC controller is one of the best controllers ever created.

Definitly not. This looks like a s****ier version of a 3rd party x box controller.Give me my original gamecube controller any day(the thumb sticks have no grip on them anymore, they are worn down to the plastic part.....no joke)

Same here! These new controllers are getting unconventional.
