Would Link be broken if his shield worked all the time while he wasn't attacking?

You know how his shield can stop projectiles when he's not moving? Well, if Sakurai had decided have Link stop projectiles while he wasn't attacking at all (Meaning that he could walk/run into projectiles without fear, jump into them, ect.), would this make Link overpowered or even broken?

It would just affect the projectile game, so by no means would he be broken.

His shield should be a bit better though

I'm sorry but this is an incredibly lame thread. What if Link had a bazooka and could kill all his opponents with one hit and no lag? What if candy rained from the sky? What if you had never asked this stupid question? The world would be a better place but it's not gonna happen.
