Okay correction: Only one Online reviewer(s) has touched the abysmal, laggy, even further broken Multiplayer

Sonic 06: This is a Sonic 06 Single Player *transforms* this is a Sonic 06 on PS3

Reviewer: So? All you did was make it laggy and remove achievements, so what?

Sonic 06 on PS3: AND THIS IS TO GO EVEN FURTHER!!! HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Shadow the Hedgehog (Videogame): AHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Reviewer: *jaw drops* AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! WHAT ARE YOU?!?!

Sonic 06: This is Sonic 06 Multiplayer. You thought I was bad before? I'M EVEN WORSE NOW

Reviewer: I'm not touching this ****

8 years later

Two best friends: Hey look Sonic 06 has a multiplayer mode

Sonic 06 EXE: *kefka laugh*

reported for posting obscene material. :p

even Hitler and Satan are vomiting blood at the sight of this monstrosity. XD
Sonic 06 is still worth way too much on eBay or any other website, but if it's any compensation there aren't many copies for sale because they're all at Gamestop and they're $10.

The fact Sonic 06 is worth more then $1 is completely sickening and it wouldn't be worth this much if people were smart enough to not pay that...I hate Sonic so much, he had a few good games on Genesis though

I managed to find a copy supercheap. It's pretty terrible. Loads of falling through the world and camera issues.
But that's what makes it so brilliant. Just the amount of glitches, bugs, and other exploits gives it somewhat of a "so bad it's good" charm. At least to me.

Until you get to that one fiery 'run forward a lot without much control' level; then it just gets really annoying.

Sonic '06 is pretty bad, but its not the worst game I've ever played. I'll second MisterVideoGaming on this one. It's bad, but at least it's hilarious.

We should probably move on from the Sonic '06 discussion too since it is off topic.

Well in that case, I have two more. Sonic the Hedgehog (Game Boy Advance). Or as I call it, the shortest lived game I ever owned.
Well I mean, how bad can one screw up a Sonic port? It's the first Sonic game, it's not that hard. Well, they found a way. Glitches and lagging everywhere. Music that'll rip your ears out (we're talking crappy MIDI here). And arguably the most sensitive controls I've played.

The other is Scribblenauts Unlimited (3DS). Oh how I remember being disappointed with this one. Where all other ports got cool thing like object editors, Nintendo cameos, the 3DS port got nothing. And all that was left was a watered down Super Scribblenauts. Every cool idea like the Arcade Machine, Time Machine and the Transporter were all taken out.

Not to mention the bugs. Now don't get me wrong, Super Scribblenauts had it's fair share of them too. But it required to be really out there in terms of seeing them, and often, they helped. Unlimited somehow made the trampoline broken. Don't know how, but they did. Even the remote-controlled objects couldn't be used.

I have to play the other versions, but I'd assume they're much better than the one the 3DS got.

I wasn't really fond of Rhythm Thief, but it wasn't a bad game. The gyro controls got annoying for sure.

Darkstone

This PS game is a Diablo-esque dungeon-crawler RPG. One the surface, there is nothing really wrong with this game; it's certainly playable and there is nothing horrible that stands out as you play it. Which is actually a shame, because if there was something really bad about it, at least it would be memorable in some way. At least it would be something.

Darkstone's crime is that is wholly uninteresting. I mean top to bottom; everything about this game is bland, boring and lacks even the slightest bit of, well, anything worth investing in. The story is uninteresting. The characters are uninteresting. The enemies are uninteresting. The visuals are uninteresting. The aesthetic is uninteresting. The dungeons are uninteresting. The music is uninteresting. The combat is uninteresting. If any of these things had even a little bit of originality and flavor, maybe it would be worth spending time on to see more, but as it stands, Darkstone gives the player nothing to latch on to.

I have played my fair share of bad games, but they all had at least something that I could find myself invested in enough to spend a few hours playing to see what else they got. But Darkstone I stopped playing after a half hour and had to literally force myself to try playing it a couple more times because it was the game I rented for the weekend (and I never reached the half-hour mark on subsequent attempts).

I can (and have) make lots of excuses for a "bad" game, but forgettably bland and boring is one thing I cannot excuse in a game. Which is what puts Darkstone at the top of my list.

Yep, that'll do it. Even the worst games I've ever played (Except Dark Cloud 1) have had something:

Sonic 06 with hilariously bad story (Not to mention the notorious Kiss and "IT'S NO USE")
Sonic Labyrinth simply for the hilarious concept of making Sonic unable to run
Dark Souls had pretty cool bosses
Pokemon Channel is colorful (Although it's not really a game)

IQ Test.

It doesn't help that half of the posts in the "verified" section of Miiverse are by the developer, to the effect of;

"Hey, guys, this watered-down ripoff of a free flash game exists! BUY IT!"

The Nintendo Web Framework is easily one of the worst ideas Nintendo's ever had.

Anyone ever even heard of this game, let alone play it? I was actually thinking of this game, but never knew the name until I happened upon a speed run on YouTube. I played this game as a child, and to this day, it still pisses me off, but that's probably because of the bad memories I've had with this mediocre craptastic game. At least the music was halfway decent. I played the SNES version, which was the same game as the Genesis version, but had far better music.

That can't be the real cover, it looks horrible.

A game loosely based on a movie, that was... well, I can't even say the movie was loosely based on Stephen King's book, since the movie had absolutely nothing to do with the short story, using only the title "Stephen King's The Lawnmower Man". King himself sued to remove his name from the title. If that's not an indicator of what the game holds, I don't know what is.

The game was developed by SCi, a developer that made very forgettable games, but then purchased Eidos in 2005 (how they managed that is beyond my comprehension). We all know what happened after that when Square bought them out...

Oh, and the game was published by THQ in the U.S.

EDIT: I found the SNES box cover art:

From the looks of the cover, this looks like it's so-bad-it's-funny. Am I right to assume this?

I can't put my finger on any specific titles at the moment, but as a recent fan of AVGN I definitely have a big list of major crap to try out... eventually.

Just do yourself a favor and don't try that godawful Silver Surfer game; even with an emulator and savestates/rewinds it's a nightmare. I think I managed one stage and that was out of blind luck/save scumming.

I can help expand upon Baroque's issues, even though I really love the game:

Wonky controls, particularly combat. Nonsensical story, and that's putting it a bit lightly. How to progress (at least for me) boiled down to trial and error; talk to everyone, go through the tower, repeat until something changes.

I did enjoy it but mostly in an art appreciation kind of way. It's unique for sure and I would recommend everyone at least give it a shot.

Dark Cloud. This game is my 3rd least favorite game, this game is trash. It looks like an N64 game but with PS1 textures (Despite being a PS2 release, we know PS2 is capable of more look at Onimusha Dawn of Dreams), the controls aren't very good, the music is dull, most boss fights are quick time events, your weapons break, enemies are too strong, I could go on but I won't, I'm just going to say it is a terrible representation of what PS2 would become and is the 2nd worst PS2 game I've ever played, maybe even the worst since Final Fantasy 12 despite being a miserable experiences looks appealing, whereas this game was probably developed on N64 but the N64 version got cancelled and it become a game that Level 5 would **** out...yeah, LEVEL 5 MADE THIS GARBAGE GAME, The creators of Ni No Kuni and also some of the best PS2 games like Dragon Quest 8...somebody wasn't tryyyyyiiiiing...

I found this unplayable as a 5 year old and I find it unplayable as a 16 year old, if you find a copy of this game, I suggest you buy it and blow it up with fireworks (Bottle Rockets, Sparklers, Snakes ect) like I did with Elmo's World on DVD...I found that **** in a Free Bin.

I don't know why visuals are such a big deal to you, but I don't think it's fair to compare a game from 2000 to a game from 2006. It's like complaining that Gears of War doesn't look as good as Gears of War Judgement. Of course it doesn't, GoW came out when the 360 was still brand new and nobody knew how to optimize it while Judgement came out last year, so of course its prettier. Same goes for the PS2.

the music is dull,
*cough*

I'm gonna level with you here, I don't think I've ever played a Level 5 game I've cared for (even DQVIII, sorry DQ fans) but from what I've read bundled with a few of your previous complaints about other games it just looks like the dungeon crawler genre just isn't for you.

And in cause you're wondering, all early PS2 games look bad.

Good graphics do not a good game make. Look at Final Fantasy VII and Super Mario 64.
The graphics were good for their time, though. The key to judging games technical-wise is to compare them to other games around the same period. Comparing something like Mario 64 to Crysis is just unfair.

EDIT: Also, don't get me wrong, I am not calling Super Mario 64 or FF7 bad at all.

No offense, but these don't really seem like valid complaints. They just sound like you're complaining at being bad at the game.
You try playing that crappy game, they sell them for really cheap at Gamestop cause no one wants to buy it, I'm not the only one who calls it a trash game. Also it's glitchy too, I fell through the world and had to reset the game. In Sonic 06 falling through the world is atleast funny and you die, in Dark Cloud you have to reset after filming it and putting it on Youtube to mock the game.

If you're going to complain about my opinion I'm just going to ask you to play the game yourself. I figured as a 6 year old I sucked at games, so I bought it again 10 years later, I only made it a little further in the game (To the second town) before I screamed and returned the game to Gamestop, telling them to tell people not to buy it.

While the character himself isn't obscure:

This game is. It is also goddamn terrible.
Donkey is on the box but HE ISN'T EVEN IN THE GAME.
the confirm selection sound is a burp.
You attack by grabbing and carrying enemies who attack you while in your grasp, your special attacks are farts and burps that expend a gas meter, if you fart near a torch you create an explosion that launches you upwards...
Not to mention the game is actually really difficult and glitchy.

I remember seeing this game on Vinesauce. And to me it looked hilarious with just how absurd it got.

Here is a really, REALLY obscure game I found on the App Store, I downloaded it for the name alone and that name is Little Pony Friendship Magic Bubblegum Dentist Game. I was looking for My Little Pony Friendship is Magic games (Not that Farmville Clone trash) and found this. My brother dared me to download it because of the cancer inducing name. The music is horrible, I can't describe it other then it being loud and chaotic and way too intense for a dentist game. Also the graphics are really horrible on the ponies and the graphics for the teeth look like Meth Teeth that have never been brushed.

Ponies doing meth? Well there IS a book where horses do drugs (Look it up), so I guess the horses from that book came into this game to get their teeth worked on. The game is also full of ads even in the middle of a game and ads can come up as quickly as half a second after closing out another ad. The gameplay itself is dreadful because you have to look at those ugly ponies with meth teeth in HD in addition to figuring out what the **** you're suppose to do, there is no tutorial.

I feel this game looks and plays like a REALLY bad flash game from the early 2000's. So I figured out what you have to do is rip the teeth out of the meth ponies, normally things without teeth look creepy, but honestly these ponies look better with all of their teeth missing. Even replacing them with normal teeth doesn't look normal because they don't integrate with the mouth right (Yes integrate stfu). You only have 60 seconds to replace all the teeth, but the controls are terrible and you might accidentally click an ad.

I wasn't expecting anything good, considering how fugly the screenshots looked. For some reason there are several dentist games exactly like this one, just with other characters such as Patrick from Spongebob. No wonder Patrick is so stupid, he has brain damage from meth AND he has meth teeth.

Still not the worst game I've ever played, Sonic Labyrinth is still the worst along with Phantasy Star 3 and Fatal Labyrinth.
