I played wifi like crazy bout a year ago, but I haven't been able to play much since. It was really helpful though that's for sure.

I used to play wifi to get better when I played Brawl.

Just remember to play the match without abusing the lag to win. Just focusing on adapting and reading, etc. I lost a lot of ladder matches but in the end I got a lot better in offline matches.

winning on wifi isnt important, creating a style that will work even better offline is.

Wifi's good if you can handle the lag and have a decent connection, I pretty much owe the majority of my skill to it.

Yeah, BBQ has the best advice. Try things you like, and apply it to offline tactics.

EDIT: Wtf Kola you quit wifi?! Nooooooo!

Thanks. Looks like some sound advice, man.

Yesterday I lost a lot because of all the lag I'm not used to, I guess, but I suppose it just puts more of an emphasis on prediction and staying safe. Winning isn't the important part. :)

What I hate is not being able to punish things I normally would easily be able to on reaction, like MK's dsmash. :(

I'm not on the computer a lot, but if I do see you on I'll be sure to ask. ;D

edit: Kola, I know what you mean by Marth being bad on wifi.

I... tried using him. T___T

Well I did, but if Dan wants to try and get back on Wi-Fi then I guess I'll go back to it. Plus I owe Mahg alot of matches.
