Developer: n-Space(Call of Duty for the DS, Geist)
Genre: Horror Survival
Publisher: None for now
Release date: None for now
Console: Wii

Winter is a horror survival game taking the genre back to its roots. Focusing on surviving than shooting people infected with Virus/Parasite X. Its about staying alive in a Blizzard while your alone. Its mediocre looks are a result of short development time. Thing is I don't want to see the video. Why. The Ole Resident Evil 2 feeling. Now when I get that feeling I know its scary. I didn't even know any thing about the game when I first saw it on Gonintendo.com, but I immediately stopped it becuase in the opening moments I knew it was a horror game that meant business.

Here's some enemy concept art.

Looks like a generic alien enemy right? Its not an alien. It's a human.

....WTF. Half Life 2 Stalker.

The article at IGN mentions that people in the Area have been transformed by the blizzard. Now from what i can get, Those were humans.

A Dynamic lighting screen

IGN article

I would buy this game, If I got over the whole your alone and enemies will stalk you thing.

Looks interesting. What consoles is it going to be for? Or is that currently unknown?

Who WASN'T expecting that thing to pop up after the Flash Light went out the first time? Still looks interesting, Graphics wise I'd have to say it looks like an early Gamecube game...and that point and click stuff looks like it might get on my nerves, and I'm not sure how the camera works but it looks like it adjusts to a certain area you're in still I'm not sure if it's because of you're control or because you entered that area.

What's it going to be rated (if at all?) Because showing Monster Boobs is definitely enough for an M.

Horror games should only be played at night with absolutely no lights on. I'm really hoping we get both this, and Fatal Frame 4. I love that series so much.

I just noticed this is an old topic. It looks like this game may never be released.
The development team never found a publisher who would support them because they were told making adult games for the wii was a bad investment. Screw those guys.

Well wow. If you want this game to get a publisher, well hope no further and act.

Its front page news. A petition to show that we(I don't want to put a pun :<) want a hardcore game.

Is it just me or is this and the 2009 line up the start of showing there is a hardcore Wii fanbase?

"Is a Wii owner not entitled to a decent array of videiogames?"

I'd say he's entitled to someone who can spell as well. Heh, spellcheck.

I agree that horror games should be played at night, especially nights when you think you're wide awake, but every little movement will make you jump.

Well, all games apart from Resident Evil, it's dialog was the most frightening part of that game. As well as the "oh crap, I'm out of ink ribbons!" moments.
