Now that's a pretty big leap of faith. There's more evidence for it than for most other theories around, but still not really enough to call it 'all but confirmed'.
This makes me sad. I would have loved to see any Animal Crossing character, KK Slider especially. Maybe next time. We'll only have to wait another seven years *facepalm*
The Wind Waker Link thing seems less clear. It could easily be in reference to trophies, but even if it were related to characters, it doesn't actually mention Link.. Tetra, Medley, Linebeck or the Korok who's name escapes me could be potential candidates. All of them seem pretty unlikely to me though.
