Why don't we make peach faster, why not make shiek stronger, why not make every character wavedashable very good...
See what I mean. They needed to program balance with some of the characters, Yes, Shiek, Fox, and Marth are fast but they are kinda weak in a sense. But there was only so many ways to hack/program these characters...
