Down B helps out a lot when trying to finishing people off. Around 100% you can finish them with that move.

It only seems to ko when theyre in the air for me

It works if they are near the edge when on the ground. You do have the better chance when they are in the air.

I guess I'll just have to practice with it then. It's pretty hard to master!

are there any other good finishers other than side smash and down b?

If you can bait them with Side B you can finish them off with that. That one is a little harder to catch. A good way to do that is when they are getting back on the stage, used side B and then down B. It will trap them in the bomb and if they shield it will take off a lot of the shield then you can break it with down B.

That sounds like a pretty good technique. I'll try it out
