Will I be able to unlock the characters I lost to without going to the rematch place?

Yeah, the rematch section just seems to generous for my liking.

Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to be true. They aren't showing up for me any longer, even when I complete Classic Mode with a character. I guess I'll have to go to the rematch section for anyone I fought, unless I go to World of Light. Speaking of, does World of Light have every character?

Yeah. I think once you lose to someone, you're more than likely going to have to unlock them in the rematch section.
A couple of friends and I unlocked almost all of the roster and none of the characters we lost to reappeared normally.

Either adventure mode or rematch room, that's it. They won't randomly appear again.
