Leaked specs/the tech showing it doing **** that that current gen consoles can't do, yeah? No, you're right, assuming a console released in like, 2012 or 13 will **** on consoles that are dated as hell already is just silly of me.

All I'm saying is that people (except for Teran) are throwing out all of these claims about the power of the WiiU without actually supporting any of it. And I mean, it's not THAT hard to link an article that supports all of this conjecture. Look, I'll even do it for you:

You're literally calling me out for assuming one of the most obvious things ever. Nintendo is not so ****ing stupid that it would release a console actually weaker or barely on par with **** that is out NOW.

I haven't made much of a comment on the 'exact' power of the wii u but it has to be stronger than the 360. Has to. Look at that Zelda tech demo, or better yet, look at the current year.

I actually find it a bit sad that people believe it is so unbelievable that Wii U is more powerful than horribly dated hardware.

Wii is more pwerful than last gen's consoles right?

So then is it really so hard to believe that Wii U is more powerful than 6-7 year old tech? It will be cheap to outdo them. I mean ****, entry level PC GPUs are more powerful than what the 360 and PS3 have to offer. 360 and PS3 weren't even top of the range when they were released, so really to outdo them would be a walk in the park.

WiiU's rumoured GPU is an R700, but the funny thing is, Wii's GPU even though it has no officially revealed legit specs, is capable of multidisplay tech, which wasn't present until the next generation of AMD/ATi GPUs.

But think of it this way, if Nintendo is using a high end tweaked R700, it has the power to run Crysis. That is not a small accomplishment, considering PS3/360 saw a gimpled down pathetic version of CryEngine 3 for Crysis 2. And yes, Crysis 2 looks worse than Crysis because of the dated pathetic nature of current gen.

It's not a question of if Nintendo is more powerful than the current gen, it's a question of whether Sony and MS' next systems will blow it out of the water, or rather if Nintendo can hold up graphically to the other companies' next gen systems.

Hello I am a fellow smash boards user as you are. I have been a member for about a good two years but recently have started to log in again. I felt like playing brawl online again even though in some terms it is practically dead. To solve this i tried finding friends on youtube which is a horrible choice for a website apparently and now i have chose this website. I originally was searching everywhere since i wasnt well acquainted with this website like I used to be until I found the Connect box in the upper right corner with the thumbnail of luigi and peach. This was my salvation due to the fact that many people actually tried to find friends as well in that blog entry section. I stumbled across a user who wanted to find friends like I did so I gave him my brawl info and sure enough i had no reply from him. However, you gave me a link to a post that would better my cause, the SMASHBOARDS ARENA! In a joyful mood i tried to give my info to the post so somebody could hear me out but I noticed that the website has resticted me from making a message. Why you ask well, a notification informed me that i have not yet confirmed my email address on this website. While this may seem as an easy problem especially since i could go on my email and fix this, well on the contrary it isn't. I CANNOT find the verification email on my inbox and it doesnt appear everytime I try to resend it. You could believe me buddy, I've tried some of the most desperate ways to find friends. Non existent brawl live chats? did it. PM people on plenty websties? Been there. I even changed the email that the verification code could be sent to in my User CP to see if that could work. If you don't understand then just understand its a complicated way of saying that ive literally tried everything. I could say many other ways ive tried battling this but in an effort to get to the point i'll give you two solutions you can help me out on:
1. tell me a way i could get a verification code to be sent to my email
OR the solution i might rather prefer since it is imo infinitely less time consuming
2. be the first person to give me your brawl code so i could actually play somebody online once and for all and stop hurting my hands from typing. Thank you so much for reading and please reply,... I'm begging.
