Why would they make Wolf the hardest character to unlock?

I can't speak about the other picture, and of course he might still be a clone, but that landmaster picture is the same one of Falco's FS, even wario is on the same friggin' position. They just changed the color and put wolf's picture in.

Gilgamesh, can you give a link to the picture of Falco's which is in the same position ? I don't remember seeing it, though I did see one (but not same position)...

I've been trying to find a decent one, but i can provide this:

Since it was taken from a video, it's one or two seconds off (and the guy with the camera zoomed in a bit) , but it's the same position, with the cannon impaling wario. The color was changed to red, and the Starfox logo removed.

STILL, i repeat that i'm not saying wolf's not a clone, in fact he most probably is, i'm just saying that particular picture was. Heck, in fact if you look at the 4chan thread where this spawned, someone posted multiple pictures of differently-colored Landmasters as a joke about this.

Fox is Fox, I saw Falco throw his reflector (?) in a video, and he might use two blasters somehow, and Wolf's blaster looks shorter range but bigger. That's what I saw in places. Oh yeah, and Wolf's tank is red.
