Why the CPUs?

EDIT:
So it's clear, I mean in With Anyone.
Sorry about the mix-up.

That's kind of....no wait.
That IS stupid.
Online was made for the purpose of playing people BESIDES CPUs, and then Sakurai gets the idea of letting CPUs in online matches.
That's the slowest crap ever.
I HAVE to play Team Battle so I won't get stuck against some stupid CPU.
I want to play with SOMEONE besides a CPU, and look at what happens.
Why?
I don't get the fun in that.
There is a very distinct difference in defeating a CPU, and defeating a person.
Besting a person means that you accomplished your goal of becoming better.
Besting a CPU means nothing.
It leaves an empty feeling on the inside, and sort of makes you want to quit.
Sakurai wants it to be so much fun, and he lets in the dodge-everything CPUs?
That's no fun.
They take advantage of your attack lag, and use it to theirs.
I feel better knowing that someone did that to me.
That means that they are smart enough to play Smash correctly.
That also means that they know a thing or two about their character and mine.
When a CPU does it, it's sort of expected.
It leaves a "They've got Perfect Control" mood, and it sucks.
They DON'T have Perfect Control, but it's still dumb.

And another thing.
I'm fighting one-on-one with ZSS.
This player is actually pretty good, they kept my Lucas stunned in a combo.
I go a few matches, improve my gameplay a little, and start to win.
CPUs pop out of nowhere.
We own them, and I own ZSS.
Few more matches.
Real people join.
Wow, they spam.
I get KO'd all though the match because every time I turn around, I am hit.
In sudden Death, the idiot misses ZSS, and ZSS strikes for the win.
WHY!
I HATE it when I find a GREAT player and others join.
4 players is fun, but it's also annoying.
You try and go after one person only to find out you have to stop Ike before he Fsmashes the character who's percentage you just racked up.
STUPID PEOPLE STAND THERE AND DIE.
And THEN I have to pick the person with the NEXT highest percentage.
NYOOOOOOOOOOOW!

Still, Why the CPUs?

I'm just your problem~
CPUs don't come in at random. The room host sets the CPUs to come in. If that's a constant problem for you with one of your opponents, and you don't like it, don't play with them.

Also, if you don't want people coming in on your 1v1 matches to play Free For Alls, just don't let them into the room when they request to be let in.

I mean in normal, With Anyone.
I hate the CPUs.
I'm not talking about in friend battles.
They just come in at random.

Let me edit this...

Yeah, that WAS a stupid idea. I'm glad someone else also thought this idea was stupid. It would suck if you were fighting a really good opponent, but then all of a sudden the guy starts sucking and you beat him, thinking you just beat a really tough opponent when you didn't. Sakurai could have at least made it so you'd KNOW if a player was replaced.

One of the biggest annoyances in Brawl Anyone. It's weird because it's never consistent. Whenever a match does have a CPU I just end it. I get no satisfaction out of playing against A.I.

You and I both. I really hate it when CPUs storm the match all of a sudden. Whenever I play Anyone Basic Brawl, I always wish for it to be a one-on-one match. I honestly wish for an option like that as well and honestly, two minutes isn't enough for a great match, let alone a one-on-one with a great player.

My goodness, I was playing this pro-like Snake yesterday.
He only got one KO on my Marth, and that's because I was a bit too careless.
I wanted to fight him again, because that was the first pro Snake I have ever fought, but other people popped up and it ruined it.

I stopped doing with anyone because of the lag. Its weird that Mario Kart Wii can play with people in Japan and have no problem, but I get crazy lag playing Brawl with people in California (I'm in Michigan)

Ruins the matchs because they CPU's play differently to real players, sometimes they don't appear in games, bit weird...

Man, I hate CPUS.
And they seem to be the only thing keeping my light blue Marth from dominating.
That, and items.

CPUs do very stupid things at the worst time.
Like they perfect shield your weak tilts, and then get Falcon Punch'd or Ikesmash'd when they're just standing there.

And items are a pain.
A BIG pain.
Like, smash balls.
Not THAT bad, but they can be rather annoying.
Like with Sonic.
He can be behind 4 kills, and gain six KOs from one final smash.
With Ike, you can steal his KO.
I did it once, and it was hilarious.
I just threw an ITEM at Ike's victim at the LAST SECOND and got HIS KO.
EPIC.

yea, I see what you mean, playing and beating CPU's just isn't the same as opposed to to playing or beating an actual opponent, same thing reversed which leaves sort of an empty feeling of easyness

It really sucks when your in the mood for a 1v1 and you're feeling too lazy to get up and find someone online. You watch as the countdown reachs zero and see there is no once besides a single player and your like: "YES! how lucky am I? This is going to be intense! I'm going to show him every A.T. I know!" Then you see the cpu's and become like:"FV(k no! I don't want any fV(kin cpu's! Why do you do this Sakurai? *Throws controller*." I almost broke a controller like that.

CPU's kinda spit on the word 'Online Play' because they are just generated and is not a solid person stupid, no idea why they added that into the Online, they should of just kept it for Offline play >_>
