Smash Ace
This is going to be short, sweet, and rather simple.
Who cares if there are 3 different Fox "clones" or that Ness and Lucas are pretty much the same? Have any of you even played Melee at all? Last time I checked even though Falco and Fox's move sets were essentially the same in Melee, they were two completely different characters in all aspects of how they were played to their best levels to their bad matchups. Despite all these so called "clones" these characters are all going to play universally different, thus still adding new characters to the mix of the metagame and what not. Yeah, it would have been cool to see characters like Simon Belmont, Megaman, Ridley, and others along those lines, but thats never going to change we are always going to have characters we want in these games. If they would have included any of those characters instead of someone like Wolf or Falco, everyone would still be complaining about where is Falco and why didn't they add Wolf.
I think its time we stop crying about the game we are getting and start getting excited to actually play it. Brawl is going to a great game regardless of whose in it, just look at Melee its been around for 8 years now and no one is complaining about the characters beyond the balance of them, so instead of whining why don't we start asking questions about the balance of the characters, who is better, what are the games mechanics like compared to Brawl, because these are the things that made Melee great, not that there were a bunch of unique characters, but that the mechanics of the game were so fluent and amazing that it developed the following it had. Just look at some of the other fighting games out there that have double the character list of Melee, but aren't half the game that Melee is if you disagree.
That is all for now, maybe we can start getting some real information about Brawl, instead of all this complaining.
