Why is Dreamland the only competitive legal stage? Also isn't it possible to mod the game so you can play on Final Destination and Duel Zone?

There are ways to emulate the modded 19xx ROMs core features using just gameshark codes, no modding needed. This includes all of the stages you can't normally play on and timer during stock matches.mods make people really uncomfortable. consider how long it took for ucf to be legal in melee, now realize we're talking about modding the actual content of the game rather than just a minor bugfix
also the blast lines on fd are absurd
what are you even saying? lmaopretty sure gameshark would make people just as uncomfortable lol
Could you not just ban cramping like it’s obvious when your camping. Here is a simple explanation why every other stage is banned.
Peaches Castle. A large stage which encourages circle camping.
Congo Jungle. Encourages camping by staying in the barrel.
Hyrule Castle. Stage hazards and allows camping on the top platform.
Planet Zebes. Stage hazards
Mushroom Kingdom. Walk-offs
Yoshi's Island. Encourages camping
Sector Z. Stage hazards
Saffron City. Exploits bad recoveries and stage hazards.

If the guy in the lead was campaign and running away until he wins then just take his win away for being a camper
Please look up boom vs. gerson. Neither player approaches. It's not like people run away unless it's the last seconds of the match. It's disadvantageous for both people to approach and telling people to approach to a spot where you'll get 0-D very easy in a major tournament would be a laughing stock.Only DL is a bad idea, cutting out an entire skillset involved with playing the game. Hyrule is a great map, with its combination of open spaces, platforms, and wall combo opportunities. The map hazard is not too crazy and can create interesting gameplay reactions.
People camping is a poor reason for blocking that map, as people do it on DL anyway. Especially look at how Kirby/Jiggly players frequently just sit around on top and wait to get a good dropkick. It's not very interesting to watch and play over and over. If camping is cause for concern on Hyrule (or any map) then there can simply be a rule against it, with a referee demanding that a player needs to move significantly from any given spot after a certain amount of seconds, otherwise they forfeit their stock. I think this rule should already be in place regarding Pikachu's teleport ledge grabs, like a maximum of 3 teleports to the ledge (or frankly only 2) if they are not otherwise getting hit or doing any attack inbetween. It's not as if Pikachu needs the extra advantage of being able to constantly fake out the opponent from the ledge.
