Why does Zelda trip so much?

Maybe because you're using a character that's primarily on the ground?

She doesn't trip any more than anyone else innately, but yes, she's grounded, so she'll trip more.

Well I'm gonna assume you use Side-B a lot with both of those characters, and as such you hit the control stick to the side a lot more, which increases your chances of tripping.

Zelda is more ground-ish than air-ish. If you run as opposed to approaching by jumping, of course you have a higher chance of tripping.

I agree on the dress tripping her. If she had the heels I would've had to say those but they aren't there. It all seriousness, since with her you typically fight a grounded game, your chances will increase alot.
