Why does everyone believe there MUST be a playable Animal Crossing character?

Animal Crossing is such a passive game. I think it would be a bit of a stretch to have one of them fighting. Even GaW and Zelda come from action games (yes, there was some fighting in a GaW game).

I dunno, you tell me.

In Animal Crossing you could CUT down trees, WHACK people with a net, SHOOT things with a Slingshot, and HIT things with a Shovel.

I say that's enough action right there for a Brawl possibility. XP

Not really. Like raphtmarqui said, it's a passive game. It wouldn't fit the spirit of the game to have a playable character.

I think there will be a "Pictochat" character. Remember, this is a DS logo, not a pictochat logo. I think this logo is actually an umbrella term for all DS exclusive things like the Nintendogs, Elite Beat Agents, and Pictochat. In otherwords, assuming my theory is correct, the Nintendog AT has this logo.
If Nintendogs, EBA, or another related series has an associated level or playable character, it will have its own icon instead of the DS icon. The Elite Beat Agents live in their own universe, not in DS-land.
