I'll give the free trial for online a chance but if the online is crap, I'm not going to pay for it.
It's 2018. We've had specialized fighting game networking code that can make the players feel zero latency for years now. If SSBU is as laggy as 4, then screw Nintendo and their refusal to join the rest of us in the wonders of modern networking code.
