Who WILL be in?

Right. Here's how we're doing this. Regardless of your preferences, who do you actually think WILL be in Brawl?

Pick no more than 3 newcomers that you are fairly certain WILL make the cut, whether you want them to or not. Hopefully your opinions will give us an idea of what's to come.

Oh, also no 3rd party characters or veterans, please.

I'll total up the votes in this post. I reckon Krystal, WW Link and Olimar stand the best chance. I've based my votes on some of the more voted-for characters on Sakurai's poll.

Krystal, Ridley, and Captain Olimar. Those are the only three big shoe-ins left as near as I can tell. Among newcomers, anyway - it should go without saying that many veterans are shoe-ins too.

The ones with the best chances are, I think..

-Waluigi, just to round out the Wario Bros. to the Mario Bros.
-Krystal, as she's gotten more popular over the years, and using her staff, she wouldn't be a Fox clone
-Black Shadow, as Samurai Goroh already is an Assist Trophy, this raised Black Shadow's chances of being playable

The ones least likely are, I think..

-Geno, because of difficulties with Square-Enix, AND that so far no Mario RPG-characters made it in, except ones that already appeared outside Mario RPG's
-WW Link, because he would pretty much be a Young Link character, and somehow seem out of place.
-Lucario, as much as I would love to see him in, I don't think he'll actually make the playable cut in the end, probably ends up as an AT at most

Geno coz he was high in Sakurai's poll, and he's got that unique factor that he hasn't been in many games.

Ridley coz he's supported like HELL by tons of fans worldwide, and ever since Melee tons of people have wanted to play as him, and were excited when they saw him on that opening scene

I don't want Bowser Jr to be in it, but he's been ina lot of recent games, and hasn't joined the Smash Bros scene yet...so...
