Which of the 3 Links would you rather be in this game?

Melee
and Brawl


They all have their own pros and cons

But personally, I like Melee Link the best. His Up b could semi spike and his moves seem to have a lot of killing power.... Now he seems so... puny... not to mention the lack of l cancel really hurt his up and down air.. what are your guys thoughts?

Wow if you think it is lame then stay out of it, I wasn't complaining or anything about the new Link, I was just trying to spark up some conversation on which link was their favorite. I don't see you contributing in this thread or to Link's move set and tactics. Please stay out if you don't care about other people trying to have fun on a message board.

I prefer his speed, priority and reach to Toon Link's floaty aversion to gravity. This is the only reason I forgive him for the Gale Boomerang and Hook Shot nerf. Melee Link could recover from any vertical spike if he had a solid vertical wall (like fourside) and the backstroke of the boomerang went through walls so if you tossed it against an angled surface you could hit people through the level from just about anywhere if you knew what you were doing. That backstroke was some of my best damage and mindgames and I miss it ever so much. I'm sure I'll like the gale when I figure out how to use it better, but the lack of damage and flinching makes it so much less effective right now.

I'd like to have Brawl Link's moves, mixed in with a spice of Melee recovery, and a dash of Illusion Stab 64 and you'll get a recipe for ****!

I just wish they took out the up b charging... gave us the old hit box for the DAIR and made the grapple melee style

so basically... best of all 3 worlds

strong up b from 64
grapple longer and no auto Sweetspot, i will suffer the loss of the Short hope grapple form brawl
DAIR hit box of melee
but the new style of play with the brawl.... for a "slower" character... he doesn't seem to pack enough punch like in 64 and Melee though... is that just me?

ahaha I remember when you fell into it.
