First off, removing the battery and plugging it in does not make it a wired controller, sadly. The cord does not transmit data, only power. Secondly, Wii U Pro should be fine for most cases, although I've heard it can get interference at larger events (cannot confirm atm, but I probably will be able to next week after I go to Low Tier City).I don't know if I should use the WiiU Pro Controller or Gamecube Controller. I know the Gamecube controller is better for tournaments (mostly because it's wired) but I like the layout of the controls on the Pro controller better. I found a way to make the Pro controller wired, but would that still work for tournaments?
