Which gameplay mechanic works better? Wolf Link or Were-Sonic?

They're both bad ideas. Link should stick to sword swinging and Sonic should stick to running really, really fast.

Wolf Link.

Werewolf Sonic is just dead wierd. Besides, he already got a load of different forms already.

Sonic the Werehog is merely another hindrance from an otherwise perfect 'classic-meets-modern' Sonic game. Wolf Link plays like all of Link's past transformations - an agent of altered gameplay that deepens the game. It certainly gave TP a very distinct, darker, and more feral feel. I very much enjoyed the addition.

Wolf Link is probably better because you could chose when to turn into him. Although there were certain areas that you had to use Wolf Link they were rare.

Werehog is just a gimmick to try and pull Sonic out of it's ***, at least the Zelda franchise wasn't going straight to mediocrity when they thought to put in Wolf Link.

Although I'd hate to see the day the Zelda franchise needs some mini-game gimmicky crap to stay afloat. Can you imagine ZeldaKart?

A Zelda spin-off game, say, an RTS or fighting game would be infinitely awesome though. Of course, they shouldn't treat it as one of the "Legend of Zelda's".

Like maybe an Rts where you play as the Hylians, Zoras, Gorons, and Ganon's forces in an all out war. Yeah, it would work...

Be just the right amount of innovation this series needs right now.

on topic: Werehog ruined the game. Wolf Link didn't. WL gets my vote.

Not in Nintendo's book.

If it doesn't involve sports, cars, or mini games it is not worthy.

And if you think about it, a Zelda RTS would be very limited.

In other RTS's the armies evolve from sticks and stones to guns, bombs, or any other more advanced weaponry. But if we choose, say the Zora's, then we can only go so far. Unless of course you want them to ruin it with guns or something of the like. Not to mention the Zora's would be mostly limited to the water, and the gorons to the land.

Link, Zelda, and Ganon are in smash...what more do you want?

I think we need to stay on topic though, it's about how Werehog sucks not if we need a Zelda Spin-off.

Wolf Link was cool. Fun to play as to a degree, and didn't change so much that it might as well have been a whole new game.
Werehog, looks like he changes everything, and well, with Sonic, you just want speed. Seriously.

Well apparently Sonic is too fast. In an interview with some Sega guy on the Sonic team he said sonic goes X miles per hour which means to have a decently sized level that Sonic wouldn't go through in less then a few short minutes it would be massive because of the number of miles that would be required in the game so it isn't too short.

Really?

Go play Starcraft.
Did I ever mention starcraft? Most RTS's play out like that, Starcraft already has the guns and the high tech weapons you just have to work for it.

Besides Starcraft doesn't already have a main game universe it has to stay true to, while Zelda does.
