Either that or you can get really crappy controllers that have horrible response like my orange madcats one. The buttons are falling off and its VERY BULKY. Me and my brother (and my friends)always compete to get the black controller(one that came with gc).

Been having the same problem, I think the only official gamecube controllers are silver. Other than that i could only find use ones and some decent generic brands. Just get the silver one, the alternatives are far worse.

i dont see why anyone would want a non-silver controller :p silver is the best!!

but have you tried walmart? I always see purple ones at walmart

or, if you want a cool color, you can always buy a silver one and paint it.

Silver/Plantinum controllers differ from Black/Indigo/Orange in terms of joystick/trigger sensitivity.

Does that mean that it's not me being crazy when I feel more comfortable playing with Black controllers?
