Smash 3DS When are you guys actually getting the game?

HOPEFULLY at a midnight release. I'm traveling this weekend, so I pre-ordered it online at a gamestop (bleh, I know...but it was the only option) in the area. Tried calling them to see if they're doing a midnight release, but they won't pick up their phone...

I don't have a copy reserved and I have to work at 6am friday, so that's my best bet for me, unless it's a guaranteed disaster.

Friday for sure, then spending the night at a friend's house and sleeping over there, only to spend the next day there too so we can all just play Smash together. Definitely looking forward to this weekend!

That is exactly what I plan to do...except perhaps not actually sleeping, but instead playing Smash all night!

Small update: I'm probably getting the game on Saturday, not the day it comes out for Americans and European people, but at least i'm getting the game together with the Aussies.

Got a call from the game store telling me I could pick it up. I was still at work, and due to someone messing up, I had to work overtime. By the time I was finally able to leave it was past 18:00. T_T

Ah well, I'll pick it up during my lunch break tomorrow then - still a day early. Thankfully I never work on Fridays, so I can play all night if I want to. Just might do, in fact.

Thursday Midnight!!!!!

The manager of the local GS I spoke to for whatever reason did not think his store was having a midnight release for SSB4. I found out a couple days later he was mistaken. Yyyeeaaahhhhhh. All night smash battles against my brother just like with every previous game. And getting down on some For Glory. Weird to think about being 10 years old when the original SSB dropped... good times

I hope a lot of the other people picking up their copies bring their 2/3/XL DS for demo matches while queuing and for a quick several matches on the full game before everyone speeds home lol
