As far as attacks go.

Example, Fair mostly, use dancing blade alot, use tether if possible.

Then what are other things he should do, not only for him but all characters, like jumping then pressing R or what not.

I really need help at becoming a better marth, and being quicker, please and thanks in advance!

Marth can tether?! O_o Longchu?!

Anyway, yeah, learn to use aerials effectively. Spamming them for the sake of spamming them will not get you anywhere.

Use Dolphin Slash out of a shield if you find it fit. This is very effective toward foes at higher percentages (at lower, grabs will often suffice).

Use a variety of ways to edgeguard. Then prioritize those methods depending on consistencies in recovery that you see from your opponent. If your opponent likes to jump from a ledge, shorthop neutral air. If he likes to roll or push himself/herself up, side smash or Shield Break.

If it happens to be someone like Pit who loves to play recovery mindgames, you can always try a Bair from the ledge. If he's using Up+B, you can most certainly gimp his recovery then.

TL;DR Version: Overall, diversify your move usage, but in a way that does not hurt your playing style, but instead accompany them. Learn when to prioritize moves over another in certain situations. Just play the character and you should slowly develop him.
