What to wear on Valentine's Day?

What's the proper way to dress for a date on Valentine's day? I don't want to be too formal or casual. I prefer semi-casual. I wanna wear a skirt, so what color or material will be suitable? What about shoes and top? Sorry about the questions but I'm kinda dumb when it comes to fashion sense

ah, teran's got a point. as to your question though, i wouldn't care what my gf wears to a valentine date. maybe it's jsut me, but i'm more worried about her just enjoying herself and the two of us having a good time together. as a guy though, i'd probably just dress a little better than i usually do =p

But seriously, just go with what you think is appropriate, don't try to be to fancy about it, otherwise you will be separating your look from you're real self, btw, it's "you're talk not you're walk" that will make that special someone adore you even more. Remember it's not what you wear but what you say.

You're asking a group of guys on a video game forum. I'm not sure this is the place to ask for fashion advice. I would advise you to dress more nicely than not. But it's really up to a guy's personal preference. I personally love it when a girl dresses up, contrary to Teran's perception of things.
