What takes more skill: Melee or DOTA?

my friend from school plays DOTA, and knows little about competitive smash. I know little about DOTA. but we are both curious as to which game takes more skill at their highest levels of play, so give us your opinion on the debate

Did you just seriously compair Melee to DOTA? I'm sorry, but that's like compairing Toy Story to 300. I don't play DOTA, and I don't play Melee competitively so I can't say.
