You have to sharpen your l canceling skills. You were missing a lot of cancels when it came to nairs and dairs. Remember, the canceling timing varies depending on what you hit (i.e. shield, foe, empty space) so just keep that in mind. Also, never ever use stationary lasers. You don't need that slowing you down. Were you ever able to wave shine? I recommened learning that technique too. Even though Mewtwo falls after being waveshined I still like doing it cause it might lead into a shield grabbed wake up attack or something. Oh and grab, grab grab! I didn't see many grab to uair combos. Also reduce the rolling. Dash dancing and wave dashing is far more reliable and makes you more fluid.

Those are just some basic pointers that come to mind. Good luck. ^^

Fox is an offensive powerhouse, you really dont have to shield very often at all.
Approach with nair. Shine after aerials that connect with his shield or else your gonna get shield grabbed.

If you can get underneath him and hes in the air, uair is an awesome choice.

I could go on forever about this, but I'm going break it down in to three, very simple steps that will elevate your playing massively.

1) Watch Wak's Advanced How-To-Play videos, and master those techniques before carrying on to step two. Here are the links:

Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4n4s5yB7ZkE
Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xiZLs2doK8E&feature=related
Part 3:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PFmGIOcWdsM&feature=related

2) Watch videos of good players. RaynEX, Bam, Mew2King, Cactuar, and PC Chris all have smart and technical Foxes that are worth watching. Search them up on youtube, watch what they do, and try to imitate them. Practice them so you can do them on command. There's a really good set between Cactuar and Darkrain (a very good Falcon player) starting here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U1WTIRfal8M . There are links to the rest of the matches on the side of the page.

I could tell you everything, but you learn from doing research yourself, and that's when things really stick and become applicable to your playing.

3) Finally: GO TO TOURNAMENTS! Find other players near you and, if you haven't already, start getting together with them and going to the tournament that community hosts. This is where you apply all the work you've done, however much that is (even if it was only a few sessions throughout the past couple weeks) and test your skills. Here is where you learn from people and ultimately place yourself in the situation where you will get better. Also, from playing with you in person they will be able to tell you so many more things than I can to help you.

I hope this helps somewhat. Not to sound to presumptuous about the third comment, as you likely are already attending tournaments, but I thought I should add it in anyway.

Good luck. :)

I'll watch your videos later when I get home because I'm at school atm. The best advice I can give you is to follow up with shines after your aerials.

Grmo posted everything you need to hear. Work on the fundamentals; lcancelling, wding, waveshining, edge-guarding, fluidity/movement, match-up specifics.

You'll get it eventually.

Thanks for all the tips...I have gone to a few tournys, but its just so hard for me to find people to play around here though....Its kind of strange how I move up to a bigger city and have a harder time finding melee players then when I was back home in a small town 0_o

This is just from watching one video, but you seem like you're not as aggressive as you should be.

Yeah no offense but you really need to practice your cancels. Try pracice simple combos on a stand computer in training mode. I did that when I started with him from marth a.k.a 3 weeks ago. You are not agresive enough thats why the comboes are there your shines are not wave use more arials.
