What is happening to SmashWiki?

I just logged on a couple of days ago, and I went to my crew page. Everything was fine, but I noticed that my smasher page was in red, which meant someone deleted it. But my other crew mates were fine. So, I went and re-created my page, and then today I logged in and noticed that our entire crew page was now gone, and all of out smashwiki articles was deleted. Something tells me they don't want non-top-professional pages on there anymore or something?

Yeah I donno. I kinda stopped going to smashwiki ever since they sold it out to that awful site. I wouldn't doubt it. I remember when they first took over smashwiki, they wanted to delete every smasher page, professional or not.

RJM used to be a sysop there, with Nealdt and a few other ones, and they did a fantastic job running the place. It sucks how they both left because of the ignorant actions of the wikia guys. :/

Yeah it's not a very good site. Pretty inacurate and a ton of random articles are deleted

Two possible wikia guidelines that people may have thought you were in violation of:

1. Relevance...it's way looser on wikia than wikipedia, but still.

2. You're technically not supposed to write autobiographical articles, so if your wikia name is the same as your "Smasher:XX" name somebody might have cried foul on your page, your crew page if you made it, and everything related to it.

To whom was SmashWiki sold to?

Anyway, I have not been there for a while. I might have to take a look at it, though.

*Looks*
Wow, they have SSB64 for their virtual console.

I just use SmashBoards nowadays. It's more accurate.
