not quite, ice ages and lowered 02 wouldve altered them.

and it's not the pokemon's fault either that they wouldnt be fit for our physics

Yes, we'd have smaller dinosaurs.

The size of an average car, maybe?

Since you semi-bumped this, I might as well take it for granted.

I wish for this thread to be revived, and for debate to what happens about the following:

What if Pokemon came to reality, and they functioned correctly in our world as they did in the games and anime?

Now, if we wish, we can add Pokemon from the SWF Dex into the equation as well, that should spice things up, eh?

Such as my Terropede, a bug that can track you down and kill you, running at 14 MPH, you'd have to be an olympic runner to outrun that thing!

That's why I bring a flamethrower everywhere I go :)

I'm agreeing with you in part, and I'ma let you finish, but I'm pretty sure Torkoal or Magcargo is the suckiest Fire-type of all time..

Have a Blissey, because they're nice, managable, and so fat that they can take any hit without giving a Muk about it.

Spit Fire at it using its basic special Attack stat, and with Terropede's pathetic HP and SpD...

Also, Blissey can take REDICULOUS physical hits with 252HP/252Def Bold.

Blissey could also TWave it and you can escape...

BLISSEY LEARNS FREAKING EVERYTHING.

Well Blissey's certainly fat enough, and is also kinda lame as it is. Even more reason to have it!

*Looks at Azelf, Claydol, Camerupt, Magcargo, Muk, Shiftry, and Skuntank*

I said "most". The others can be explained too...

Muk: Same as Weezing. Who knows what can happen when you're a pile of toxic goo...some bad chemical reactions, and BAM! some dude in a HazMat suit is cleaning you off the floor.

Azelf: Being of willpower right? What better way of winning by taking your opponent down with you?

Shiftry: Seedot is round. Readfail.

Magcargo: His shell is round.

Claydol:??? He's round from above :)

Camerupt: Same as Torkoal. Plug his crater and tell him to use Eruption. Instant explosion.

Skuntank: Whatever weird reason GF has for giving him Flamethower. I assume it is because of his nauseous fumes...

Regitrio and Claydol fall under the same reasoning: Ancient beings above all understanding obviously means they can explode XD.

Sudowoodo fits in with Steelix and Probopass. The last group I cannot fully explain.

Once again, though, I said "most".

19/34 qualifies as "most".

I actually disagree. Thanks to how often Blissey should be able to switch in during a given match, as well as how long Blissey can sometimes stay in during a given match, Ice Beam or Flamethrower will typically deal more damage in the long run than a one-turn Explosion will. And if you put Explosion over Thunder Wave or Toxic, then it's REALLY losing a lot of what it can do from the support side. Plus there's the whole issue with Blissey's base Attack stat being 10 (this means it maxes out at a measly 130; lower than even Gengar's at minimum). Truth be told, Explosion Blissey probably isn't the best of ideas. Even if it does get STAB and whatnot.

Note: Neutral-natured Minimum Atk Blissey can't even OHKO Azelf.

Nasty Plot Blissey would be...I'm not even sure what I could say about that.

All I can think of is bad. And not the 'bad' kind of bad either.
