Lol, i know what marik means, but everybody just kept saying the same thing. I`ll just do some testing and post some charts, It`s not even useful, maybe a mindgame if you can predict during a match exactly when people will cheer, even if you opponent doesnt care, it`ll still be a neat technique.

Note how they cheer for Ike even though he has no damage.

-Comboing/Hitting a lot
-Not getting hit yourself
-No stale moves
-Exciting crowd (large knockback hits)
-Close to opponent

This is just what I think, there may be more.

If you pick Bowser and enter tournament the crowd auto-chants.

No lie.

 

[Ultimate Smasher]

The crowd will cheer if you can receive lots of damage like 200% and you are still alive. It always happens to me. I don't knowif this is the exact cause but it makes the crowd cheer everytime.
