What do people miss from Melee?

Hi everyone. I was wondering (surprisingly), what everyone missed about our little marshmallow from melee. Don't write something like "Why the f*ck would we miss something from melee! Brawl all the way!" People don't care about that kind of stuff. Surprisingly, we care about intellectual discussion about our topic, not people swearing.

On a more positive note, here's what I miss: I miss the multiple varieties of kirbycides from melee. I wouldn't use them that much, but there's always the joy of playing a 10 stock brawl with 2 of your Kirby friends and Kirbyciding every stock. Without popping in Melee, of course.

I miss the Kirbycides that were so much more useful than in Brawl, and sometimes the killing power of UAir.

i miss kirby looking ridiculously fat with extremely stubby limbs

i miss the old hi taunt (not, it probably annoyed me more than my opponent)

i miss mewtwo, roy, and pichu kirby ;_;

I miss his Fireball attack. Although it's not as good as Yo-Yo Kick, it just looks cooler.

I can't think of one thing Melee Kirby had over Brawl Kirby. =S

I miss his Fireball attack. Although it's not as good as Yo-Yo Kick, it just looks cooler.

Break Spin > Burning Attack in Kirby Super Star Ultra

Also, Kirbycides were the key element of Kirby in Melee. If he had the same Kirbycides Brawl, (better Basic-B range, fall off the stage with his F-Grab, B-Grab and U-Grab without break off's of course), he would be broken and be top tier and concider to be more broken than Meta Knight would ever be.

And he survived swallowcides if you were good...

Is that what you guys are talking about with the "better kirbycides" or did you mean that crappy throws that level 9 computers break out of 90% of the time?

Yes, it did. And you could cancel. Now? You don't anything back and even bowser can't be SD-cancelled against.

Kirbycide was so cheap in Melee XD you just walk off the edge and they break out so far they can't recover.

You looked pretty good at melee, did you just not play Kirby much in Brawl? :/

Anyway, I've switched mains a couple times in Brawl. I played Zelda in Melee, but only as a screw around character in Brawl.

I miss Kirby's F-air and old D-tilt. D-tilt had alot more range, and so did F-air, F-air comboed into things better to and had less landing lag.

I really don't miss much of anything from Melee Kirby, the Swallow powers of Melee were cool and all, but I don' truly miss it.

I miss Kirby Hammer's, D-Smash's and D-Tilt's Range....
And being able to Swallow people behind you, the greatest 80 wtf victories in all of Smash.

I still play SSBM; our Kirby forum is so very lonely with about 4-5 regulars.

I miss u-air and the SSBM mechanics, and maybe the Kirbycides.
