what character should i use?

hey guys, my high has a melee tourney every year and this will be my first year attending, out of these characters which of them should i go, falco, fox, falcon, doc, ic's, or marth. care to give me hand, thnx.

who are you most comortable with against poeple?Mine is pichu maybe your is falco or roy. I can't tell you who to main, if you plan to to win pick puff and master planking, WOP and rest bull s*** when you won't get punished hard.

Try this formula:

C = x(f,e) or C = x(f,w)

C = Character that will be your main
X = the char that could be a potential main
f,e = how fun that char is
f, w = how fun that char is while being competitive

Exameple. C = CaptainFalcon(Very fun, enjoyable) or C = Marth(Not fun, but will probably win more)

I guess the question you gotta ask yourself is, "Do I want to have more fun or win more?"

marth is easily considered fun. he's like my 4th favorite character to play as. your main is whatever you're most comfortable with/have the msot fun with.. no1 can tell you who to main, there would be absolutely zero logic behind us telling you which of those 6 characters to play since we don't know your playstyle or anything that could sway an opinion.

try all the characters you mentioned daily and see which you seem to have the most fun with. Just..don't choose a character below mid-tier unless you're just playing for fun. They take alot of time to make tournament viable (it's possible just more effort).

cause you can have fun and win jsut as equally if you happen to like a really good character.

ya just play around. Then pick ur main based on who's the most comfortable and the most fun.

All of them are good characters. If you play people who aren't as good as you and want to feel comfortable just be Marth and space the **** out of them.

Whoever works best for you. Fox and Falco are good for camping, Falcon's good for insane combos, Dr.'s good for...pills, I.C.'s good for chain grabbing, and Marth's good for spacing. Personally I prefer Falco, though.

Try new character. 1 month ago i had the same problem. I was debating mi main with 3 characters, falcon, marth and C Falcon. Now i am maining G&W XDDDDDD (Funny and i can win with it ;D)

Just try new things ;D

Use characters that you have an easy time using. Of course, using higher tiered characters like Fox, Marth, and Falco does improve your odds of winning tourneys.

no you have to have long enough of a post like let's say your sig. is like as long as this you must like post like 3 times more than what is there. however it goes by what you posted for your your sig I beileve.

so if it's just a pciture they seem to come up sooner due to lack of charcters. or if your sig is like mine with link and quotes then it will take much more posting to get it up.

yeah trying new things is always a great thing to do. I've tryed focusing souly on platforms as marth once and it was pretty amazing.

Generally don't allow threads about who you should main.
