Okay, but see this still makes no sense to me, because the thing you are claiming upsets you is that because the character is a reflection of yourself you are upset because someone joked he was misogynstic or transphobic, but in game he is killing women and a actual transgender woman who is somewhat of an icon in the transgender community. Yet that did not bother you.

But my silly lighthearted joke did.

Look. It's okay. I understand that you are transgender and you have a struggle, but you got way up up up in offense for nothing and really can't even claim it because you're okay with the possibility of some of his actions in this round being things that would make you upset as a transgender woman.

I love you home girl, we in the same community, the LGBT community, so I'd never actually say anything harmful about a transman or woman or hell even a woman. I love everybody.

It just floors me that this concept is a thing that just happened, because none of it makes sense logically to me. And maybe it's because I'm not in your headspace, but whatever. I try to think too logically sometimes and I just don't see the logic in this I suppose.

Either way....moving along.

I don't take the game seriously because it's just like Mortal Kombat. Purely a fight to survive. Everybody's equal in that regard. There's ironic deaths all around. Your joke was mostly in poor taste at best, considering who you were referring to. That's all it came down to, poor timing.

Also, considering my lack of research among the LGBT community(I won't act like this is a good thing), I didn't know who that was. So that didn't affect me as much. Even then, I only view this as a silly game. I don't think jokes about bigotry and such are all that funny to begin with. Especially not outright accusations. While I don't mind a joke that's bigoted in nature simply because we're being silly, it's more than understandable that somebody might be annoyed by it. The best thing to do is apologize for a poor taste joke. It's not about being sensitive, it's about respecting the fact others are bothered by it.

Everyone and everything is absolutely up for jokes. That's just how comedy is. You can't expect to not be a butt of a joke but expect someone else to be joked about, because I've noticed this trend that if you are in a marginalized community. There's no joking about it. But if you're like say a white straight man? It's so hilarious to joke about them?

Like no. That's now it works. If you want equality, you gotta take it all. And I say that as a proud gay man who laugh his ass off at jokes about our stereotypes, etc, etc.

Also bigotry is very bad as is transphobia, but joking about them is not. In fact joking about them would probably take a little bit of power away from the actual acts, because we'd realize how ****ing stupid it is that people actually hate a person for just living their own life as a woman or a transgender person/person on the gender spectrum.

So no I'm not gonna apologize, but we gonna move on.
