ways to avoid getting shined while chainthrowing?

Well, double stick DI is pretty easy when you're asleep and have all the time in the world to DI a 45 degree Shield breaker.

Down smash kills at 40%. I'd prefer it over Shield Breaker most of the time if it's spacing wasn't so akward.

I said king, not just able to do it..

I might could understand using the d-smash if its a low ceiling stage but if the jigglypuff has any sort of % on them and is close to an edge, I'll stick with my shield breaker.

I'm not missing grabs, I'm getting shined before the grab, hes shining marth's shoulder area, mostly like my head, and its under 30%..he says he simply tries to jc shine rapid and it does that. as I said, maybe I'm slow..after all, I play a slow marth but I'm doing fine, I just wanted to throw out that bit of info, that you need to be going for quick and brutal over chainthrowing for longer periods.

I already stated I've modified my grab game to avoid being shined and I'm doing well.

EDIT: Marths on my country know that I'm almost "un-chaingrabable"(is that a word? =P) that's why they switch to f-throw and tech chase against my fox

You can't avoid the grab if the Marth pivot grabs correctly, so this just means that the Marth's in your country do not space pivot grabs correctly. I doubt that they CAN'T do it, I just think they don't play with a Fox (or you) enough to worry enough to properly space it.
