All right. I was wondering what the general timing between Marth's wavedashes are, and if there is a possible video so I can see the timing. I'm still new to learning wavedashing, but I was hoping I could see at what speed I should be wavedashing at when doing multiple wavedashes, so I can see whether or not I'm just timing it bad/rushing myself/just plain not used to wavedashing in quick succession.

Thanks in advance.

Wavedashing takes 10 frames i think, and there are 60 frames per second. So wavedash every 1/6 of a second.

Mew2king learned all the frames and he seems to be doing alright. Although mango did mess him up pretty bad.

marth's wavedash is verrrrry easy to time for me, as is sheik's which has similar timing. basically each character has different timing for it (fox's is lightning fast, marths is a tad slower, falco's slower than marths.. etc), which comes from varied duration of jump animations between characters. its the ones like roy/ganon that were harder for me, but you just have to keep practicing and you'll be fine. I use X and R to wavedash

You're obviously doing it wrong if you think the above text is anywhere near correct.

Yeah, Sheik and Fox have the same timing, which are both significantly faster than Marth's. Falco's is closer to his timing, but I think it's slower.

Marth's wavedash seems faster than his run in short distances, but the lag between wavedashes makes it less useful over long distances. I dunno about pulsewalking though... I'd imagine it'd either be continuous wavedashes or foxtrotting that would be the fastest.

pulsewalking is a form of foxtrotting, you are doing the quick initial dash, then canceling with a wavedash, repeat.

practice perfect waveland, perfect the wavedash, joystick almost horizontal, and the initial jump must be done frame perfect or almost, then ****
