I apologise if this has already been found/posted, but in case it hasn't I wanted to post it so those who have more direct access to Brawl currently could investigate further.
What I know for sure is I did peach's wave turnip (the glitch where if you press A during the initial frames of a roll, it cancels the roll into throwing the item and the char is sliding forward) and when I had recovered, I hit A again and caught the turnip I had just thrown.
I'm *guessing* what happened was I threw the turnip as late as possible which allowed me to slide quickly enough to keep up with it, but I wasn't able to properly test this. It occurs to me that it might be possible to do this with other thrown items as well, which couldn't hurt to look into. This strikes me as being potentially useful for chasing down someone in the case of a whiff, or possibly even a fake if it can be caught before it would connect with the opp.
Time for me to go cry about having to work instead of play more brawl. ;; I hope this info proves useful!
