We haven't even seen how much damage his "special fart" deals. We can't say anything about where he'll be on the tiers list until we play the game.

The way that was worded, i think we were both right. while it is based off of tournament play, think about it. When it comes right down to it, it really is character potential. If a character can be developed IT WILL be. if not, then the potential of the said character is not as high as the potential of character that has been developed. So if what your saying is true, does that mean falco and mewtwo have the same potential? i dont think so

First of all, since the game isn't released, no one has any idea what the tiers will be.
Second, I suspect that, just like in Melee, speed >>>>> all else.
I still prefer SSB64 to SSBM because slower characters were still good characters. It'd be a dream come true if the game turns out to be so well balanced that tiers are difficult to establish, but I sincerely doubt this will be the case.
That said, I expect that all characters who aren't speedy will tragically, once again, be crap. Wario would be bottom tier, but not because of his fart attack but because he doesn't exude speed.
If this turns out to be the case, I intend to download SSB64 on the VC and then never look back.

I just posted something saying it has nothing to do with character potential and is based solely off of tournaments. You are not right in any way and stop trying to defend your previous posts because you are wrong. The tier list can't be decided on until their have been a decent amount of tournament play. How are supposed to know, without having ever even spoken with you before, that you're not an idiot? I don't think you can really expect readers to just assume that much. We're going to base our response on what we hear, and what we heard was "Wario is going to be bottom tier!"
