Nice vids blackwaltz. Our playstyle seems to be rather similar, though I don't think I could stand in one spot and just grab like 5 times. lol (mind gamez maybe?).
One thing I noticed is that you kept getting shield poked by MK's tornado. M2k made some long thread about how to fight mk... blah blah blah, the main thing to take from it is to shield and press up, and he can't hit you.... unfortunately this thrashes olimar's shield, but you should be able to punish

If you shield the whole thing and DI down and let the last hit land, you can fair/bair them when you have low damage.

This is the easiest thing to do because I have tap jump on (Even though I don't use tap jump much anymore).
You're right though, if I eventually decide to take tap jump off, you can put the shield upwards to block all of it and then punish it pretty easily.

The grab spam is two things. EIther I'm cycling my pikmin or I'm doing it because certain characters have very little answers to it. (One time, in the MK video if I had seen the MK decide to try to fair, if I had stopped to grab and then shielded, I could have punished, but I messed up.. ah well)

I'd recommend the kirby video of tourney play where I am more aggressive, which is how I fight kirby.


Yes, if the opponent isn't doing much to be able to punish me (Grab spam if they are MK or fsmash if they are sonic/Captain Falcon).

Very nice matches, obviously posting some of your better matches :D...loved it though, brawl **** is too good. I don't think you are looking for a critique since they aren't matches where you played badly...three things I LOVED:

1) up b is sex!!

2) side b to nair - shanazing :D highly underutilized by most

3) up air chasing (either followed by jump up air/other aerial or chain or latch) just very well done.

These were matches where I played near my 100%.
It's hard to get me to do it, as well as I have to actually search for ones where I played poorly.
Most of my replays I have forgotten where I have gotten it from or why I have them saved.

I'm going to erase all of the ones that aren't useful and start to list what is offline and on.

These were just the first 4 replays that were recently added to my wii, minus the ivysaur one, which is too good.

As a tourney is tommorow, I'll be getting new videos hopefully. I will be saving any videos where I play 75% or more. Ok?
Once again, contact me if you can receive vids and send them to me to host.


Finally, thanks everyone so far and I do wnat critiques, however these matches I played too well and it's kind of hard to comment negatively on my 100% play (or others at times).

Out of the first three videos I posted, any points in the match(s) where I should have done something else?
