I'm not in Florida o_O
And my Doc is the best in Fl? wtf

Hey, just a thought...
This usually works against most comp players and this Doc has the same tendencies.
When you get close enough and DDance, he stops throwing his pills and then you either run in for a Dair or Grab or Dash A. What I noticed is that with the dash A, it's almost a desperate attempt after a few failed leaps. A tactic that I use to absolutely PWN people is to use alot of trail ends to the attacks. Like Falcons Dash A.
You run straight at him in the pill pauses and what not but you try to hit him with the strong initial hit with the DA. This can easily be dodged then you end up behind him and it sets you up to be thrown or DSmashed. There are 2 things you can throw into the mix here.

1. Try dash canceling right infront of him. He'll probably dodge then you can just use the Dtilt on him, it's rangy so if he doesn't dodge, you're still relatively safe.

2. Use his dash A EARLY! This attack slows Falcon down a ton for a short pause and it lasts longer than Docs dodge (if he dodges it when he usually does in these vids.) If you use it early, you'll slow down then hit him with the end of the attack. Sure it has low knockback, but it works like a tap so you can grab him or jab him. There is no lag after this attack so if you time it well, you can hit him with the end frames everytime.

Also, more Utilt. lol
It's fairly sexy

@drunkkunmonkey: just leave. Not only are you dropping names, the advice isn't useful, as DDIng doesn't really work against projectile spammers.

anywho, I saw these from the doc perspective, but yeah, pretty much what SmashMac said. Use n-air more, not only to eat through pills, but to space against getting grabbed. be more aggressive, and don't use d-air to approach. Use it to tech-chase, or occasionally for variety, but gets you too close to a Doc that will most likely shield->grab.

But yeah, regarding stages:

Unless you have a great pressure game, FD favors doc because if he isn't pressured, he can simply retreat and pill. PS is better because the platforms mix it up, and you still have room to run laps around the doc.

Smaller stages may fit your style better, but beware of Docs owning you will quick kills on small stages. Sure you get kills quicker, but they do to, so again pressure and aggression will help you.

Also, a useful recovery tip that you may not need but in case it comes up. If you recovering against doc,is to hug the stage and up b backwards, holding towards the stage afterwards. Then if they don't cape, you grab it (like recovering from under battlefield sometimes) and if he does cape you, you are turned towards the ledge.

Thanks for the no spam advice St. Viers. I played him today and got 4-stocked while warming up, but I was able to 2-stock him and get a few wins with pressure. I Naired all the pills, Naired into grabs, mindgamed my recoveries and tech chased into stomps FTW. I even mindgamed a Falcon Punch in there.

What really helped my game though, which I ended up figuring out for myself, was jabbing. I thought Doc's jab helped his game more against Falcon's, but jabbing with Falcon opens up so many doors. Once I got the timing, I could jab him out of his Jab>Grab and Jab>DSmash, which he would usually get. He got pissed that I won and even said he was frustrated by playing me, so we played one last set. My pressure then turned to aggression, and I got owned lol. I'm gonna take my recording equipment tomorrow and I'll have another match up for critiique in a day or so, win or lose.

By the way, does anyone know how to change the title of the thread?

You can edit the title by editing the first post and going advanced.

Another way to do it (most people don't know this) is to go to the thread title on the board (for you it would be from HERE), double click outside the thread title and edit it there. This only works if you're the thread creator.
