I've taken screenshots of some of the recently revealed updates this past day of Brawl (pictures included) :)

Character Selection Screens

Selection Screen has a white background until you confirm your characters. Then it becomes black. Notice the nice white colored Mario (Fire Mario anyone?)

The confirmed players. Notice the black background and a dark scheme for Meta Knight. He also comes in white and devilish red. Sadly no Black or White Yoshi....

Stage select screen also has a white background. This is a demo after all, so these may or not be changed. I personally like the crayon effect the stage preview images have on the left side.

Victory Screen. White background again with a touch of pink. In the video, Meta Knight indeed has a remix version of Kirby's Victory song (as Masa stated he would months ago in his Toukouken)

Victory ranks and points.

Advance Wars Assist trophy (knocks opponents off stage)

The new Norfair stage. It has a total of 5 platforms. One in the middle bottom and two on each side creating a V shape. Lava ebbs at times similar to Brinstar in SSBM.

Pit's possible side B move. He twirls his blades to cause damage for a few se. It seems once you start it, you can't cancel it unless you get hit.conds

The bottom of Castle Seige. A hellish looking area, perhaps the underworld, center of the Earth etc. It only contains one big platforms in the middle.

The island pit stop for the Delfino stage.

The clifftop pit stop for the Deflino stage. It seems the platform ride takes players back to the city where they get dropped off again to battle on the rooftops.

Sonic charging his neutral B attack?

Sonic releasing his windup punch.

MOAR I DEMAND MOAR. Great thread. There were much more highlights. Dark Meta Knight! I'm loving these alternate costumes. And the classic look of the Fire Flower. And Fire Mario Looks pretty spiffy too. Yoshi resembles Boshi....at least slightly.

According to 1up, the positions of the platforms in Norfair actually change.

And the music is the ending/intro of Super Metroid.

There are a lot more things to point out, ie. Beam swords now being blue, Fireflower can be used while walking, Smashballs need to get hit repeatedly to unleash their Smashjuice to power up the player to use their FS....

I'm sure people are watching videos and discovering them for themselves :)
These were just some confirmations~More to come perhaps~~

Around 1:09 in the Castle Siege video, Diddy crouch-cancels Meta-Knight's attack when they're in the basement area of the stage.

You forgot to mention the most important part: Aviator Goggles on Pikachu!

I wouldn't jump to too many conclusions based on player actions though(like Pit's B move being uncancellable), most of them aren't very good and they're being forced to play on new control schemes to boot.

Gamespot interview with a Nintendo rep confirmed that to be Pit's side B :)

Pikachu's aviator goggles COULD mean no more Pichu....

Final Smashes can be used more than once for each character (from the Gamepot video interview) Pit used his Final Smash twice

Peach's FS. She winks and puts everyone to sleep, or "paralyzes" them with her "beauty". I'm not sure if this is a reference to Super Princess Peach or not.

Samus's Super Missile now look more like the super missiles from Super Metroid~And they make their distinctive Super Missile sound effect.

Don't forget about her bombs, Screw Attack and grapple beam.

Also, her morph ball form looks just like her morph ball design in Prime.

Smashballs can be used over and over (ZSS has one)
You can hit the smash balls out of people if you attack them while they haven't used it yet.

Ike's sideb move is he charges up for a second and quickly dashes in a straight line to whoever is closest to him and slices them.

Sonic's windup punch is his forward Smash

Neutral B is a homing attack.
It was revealed today that his side special move is the Spin Dash, ie forward/back smash..

The punch could just be holding A then releasing it too...we don't know yet..

Durrrrr do you think I didn't already realize that? You didn't provide a link to the video and Sakurai has stated that there's no using FS's more than once during a match, so you can expect people would be skeptical. Honestly, loosen up mate.

Oh, and didn't 1up say something about Meta Knight's Final Smash?

Um, no...side special move does not = forward smash...

Have you played Melee before?

I'm not even sure you were talking to me, so I took out my post. If you were talking to me though it still stands. =D

Anyways yes, Meta Knight's final smash darkens the screen (apparently moreso than most Final Smashes?) and he slices up people near him.

In the IGN Castle Siege video, Mario used his FLUDD, and it stayed on his back for a while until is disappeared. I think.

He came back after dying without FLUDD. Then, when he used down B, it was on his back and stayed on until he was hit a few times or maybe he "lost" it somehow.

Maybe I'm seeing things, but it looks like the main platform of the bottom "hell" tier of Castle Siege tilts depending on where characters are standing.

I'm guessing that the stage transformation seen in the demo for Castle Seige is not how it's actually gonna happen. Sakurai himself said that (at least from the 2nd to 3rd area), that the statues would have to be destroyed, sending the plaforms crashing down and eventually destroying the floor. In the video the screen just goes grey with some implied motion in the background and then you're magically there. Because of every match having that 2 min time limit, I'm pretty sure the stage was set up to automatically transition (I think the first one happens after 30 sec, and the 2nd after 1 min).

Someone needs to pick Samus and then get 2 smash balls in one match. If ZSS's final smash causes the varia suit to comeback then that's more evidence toward being able to start a match as ZZS somehow. Staying with samus, do her bombs still give her a boost, I couldn't quite tell from the video. Will she still have a seeking super missle? and **** she's floaty (maybe they just weren't fast-falling at all). Why didn;t that dude in the interview video mention air dodging when mentioning the functions of the Shield button!? He talked grabs, shield, rolls/spot dodging, but doesn't press it in the air. Is it possible that the shield button does something else when used in mid-air?

So far my fav stage is Delfino Plaza by far. Not only does the main platform/transporting section change between each section of the island, but the island sections are so beautifully varied. It's like Mute City if god created mute city.

Also, does everything seem kinda floaty and slightly slower paced than melee? Is it just cause these are noobs who aren;t dashing/fast-falling?

Yeah I was thinking the same thing, it seemed a lot slower but it looks the same speed that beginners play at on SSBM. Hardly anyone was dashing, using shield or using aerials, although it happens sporadically. Maybe there needs to be some pro there to speed up gameplay.

Not sure how many read but way back before man updates had been released, there was word that the pace of the game would be slowed down a bit from melee. It would allow for more combos (especially air tricks) which is what they mentioned at that time.

And from the looks of these gameplay clips that we have, well i would say the speed is in between that of the 64v and melee.

I, personally, was happy to see that screw atk that samus did on mario slowed down more like the 64v. Oh and the Mario Tornado...

But you prob were right about those guys who didn't sh or ff or anything like that. Totally hated that pika who did nothing but thunder for 2 min straight!!

I've noticed that when a character gets behind the percentage meters the pictures in the meters go transparent. That makes me happy. I'd hate to have a picture be the reason I died.

EDIT: In this video: http://youtube.com/watch?v=C-6j2LUCZ6w Mario does what looks like a WD but is really him doing his tornado, and what seems like a glitch where the tornado gets interrupted and he does a WD on the ground. It happens about 10 seconds into the video. Look at the high res one on IGN for a better look.

Oddly enough, the thing that most effects me in this thread is the lack of Pikachu's blue Party hat.

Crap. I've ALWAYS been blue Pikachu, and I've grown attached to the hat.

At least Fire Mario is in. Ive been wondering about that since Melee came out.

Why is it I'm not interested in the important news?

Actually I am. I'm just too tired to comment on it. Just the costumes.
