Yea, that's a thing. Did they also ship them to the Americas??? Cuz I'm pretty sure europeans had a monopoly on the whole shipping enslaved peoples across the ocean.
Also are you justifying american slavery by saying that that wasn't the first instance of slavery? Cuz I'm pretty sure it was still wrong and terrible even though other nations may have also had systems of slavery.
Finally, american slavery is more poignant to us cuz it happened in our nation and continues to effect us socially and economically.
I know mars made his post with humor in mind but this stuff is kind of important. We can make our nation better over time by addressing our past sins, not by justifying them.
