What is there to read "more closely" about... How he phrased it could mean either case...

I too would like to lend my voice to the support of higher respect and a better scene. I know X is capable of it, I've seen it before. Maybe X is trying to keep the scene alive in his own way... but I think for most scrubs that might join us we need to reach out more and be friendly to newcomers.

Non Smasher? I still play Smash when I can. I'm playing less only because I'm focusing on school more.
Sure I'm taking the game less seriously (as in I'm not trying to go to every tourney to get better), but I still like Melee a lot.
Smash is fun, and I'm trying to keep it that way instead of making it into a chore.

I'm just saying that the thread's getting stupid. No one usually posts. When someone posts about Smash, X posts that everyone sucks and says why bother while the Mexi Brigade goes and starts riding him. This thread's supposed to allow people to talk and get smashfests going. If that's not happening, then I almost see no point.

It also goes into who's going to be constantly updating it and what not. I'm cool on the moderating aspect (done it for a MUCH larger community), but in terms of actually running the site, I'll pass. If you want to take that opportunity on yourself, by all means, go ahead. I'll help when I can. But there's no moderation here until things get out of hand, and it'll also be better when tournaments occur so that they can be found easier and what not.

Of course, though, we'd have to keep something over here on these boards alive just so people could be redirected to the other site XD
