Anime Banzai shoutouts: ggs to Corlax, Wazat, Sada, Elle, deathbysuarez, and deathbysuarez's little bro (we rocked the unofficial teams tourney hahaha).
win = Kirby winning the tourney
lose = only 30 entrants allowed again this year,
ultimate win = seeing PC do the Hare Hare Yukai and getting a whole crowd cheering

Just so anyone is curious, here was how the Brawl tournament went. SephirothMasamune was the guy "running" the event, but he didn't know how to work Tio, so I was the one that ended up setting up and pretty much running the whole thing. Also, I missed the 32-people cut-off, but due to some persuasion, I was able to get myself in.
The bracket was single-elimination. Stage rules followed the SBR recommended rule-set. At first, it was 2 stocks, 4 minutes, best of 3. But that took way too long, so even before it got to my turn, it went down to only 1 match (with the same stock count). In the quarter-finals, they were really pressed for time (already going over the limit) that they had to cut it down to 1 stock (yeah...pretty bad at this point). When I made it to the semi-finals, all but one of the people that even had a chance at beating me were eliminated (mostly due to messing up once and losing that one stock), and I fought the guy here (I actually know that guy from years back, too). I got greedy with MK and Shuttle Looped him high above the screen as he was about to use Stone with Kirby. It was pretty much win or lose, depending on who was faster and got the first hit. I was too slow, so I died. Then I proceeded to take out my frustration on the Olimar player in the 3rd place tie-breaker match by beating him in under 15 seconds. The finals was best of 3 with 3 stocks each, so if only I played the Kirby player in the finals, instead...it would have been more interesting. So the guy that beat me ended up winning 1st easily (he 2-stocked the other finalist both times).
I got some DVD of some 20+ year old show that no one I know has ever heard of, so I just gave it to the Olimar player that got 4th. 2nd place got 3 manga volumes of, again, a series no one I know has ever heard of.
1st place got a Sega Dreamcast...

lol dreamcast was awesome, and had LEGIT online play.... but no one cared because its sega T^T

My laptop wiped itself clean last wednesday. lulz.
My dad and I spent at least four days trying to reinstall Windows, which my laptop adamantly refused to do.

I talked to a couple of techies, and they said my computer was possessed. rofl.

We finally installed Linux, which actually worked, so my laptop is working again. Yay.
