Well the tourney is on June 20th, and it's a 24 hour car drive, so we'd probably have to leave the 18th at the latest, but any time before that would be fine too.

Compared to last year, EVERYTHING was excellent. I'm so stoked for the next year or two.

Conduit, Red Steel 2, NSMB Wii, Mario Galaxy, No More Heroes 2, and Metroid (oozes at mouth), plus those High Voltage titles we're getting, RE Darkside Cronicles, DeadSpace, and all this for Wii alone! I know I'll be getting a ton of these when they come out. And that Mario and Luigi 3 game and Golden Sun DS (if anyone has GS 1 or 2, I would LOVE to borrow it, I've never played them before).

Then a ton of games for the other platforms which I'm SO HAPPY they'll be releasing for the PC as well. MGS Rising, Splinter Cell, Assassin's Creed 2, and Modern Warfare 2.

Man, I'm gonna need more hours to pay for these games!

...into my basement. Yep...moving the computer downstairs up to my room, and all my stuff downstairs. That way, it'll be easier to do smashfests (we'll have more room and stuff. We won't have the big projector, but we'll have more room, definetely) and I can have space to keep all that Rock Band/Guitar Hero crap in the front room somewhere out of the way. Plus my drum set is down here, and workout station (need to work out on more than my abs, now that I've had the six-pack for quite a while), so it's pretty much a win-win situation.

E3 this year was awesome. Too bad Shiggy didn't reveal too much in his roundtable...cept that Link artwork which is said to be "the most mature Link of all"....****IT, I want to see that artwork!

Golden Sun is a fun game but the first one is ridiculously short (haven't played the second one). I think it took me like ten hours to beat the game >_>

And why on earth doesn't he have a sword? "Different era?" I'm becoming more and more convinced that Nintendo is just a joke these days...

It says the new Zelda will have advanced swordplay in it. But Link doesn't have a sword.
Maybe their going back to that CD-i game where Zelda saves Link? xD

He also stated in his roundtable about remembering Zelda when you're trying archery or swordplay in Wii Sports Resort.

It will have swordplay. Link without a sword does not make it a Zelda game. I think there'll be more focus on other weapons as though, or maybe he loses his sword for a dungeon, and your bow and arrow are your only weapons.

But still, the most mature Link, it still gets me excited.

Boo... Link's not a lefty again.
I guess it makes sense since Nintendo wouldn't want us to use the analog with our right hand.

im left handed and i feel link should go back to being left handed as well, but anywhoo

ano do you honestly think they are not gonna give link a sword or something dumb like that?

they try the crazy stuff with toon link, not regular link

He is going to, and if fact from all the hints from Miyamoto and stuff that the fairy girl is in fact the Master Sword.

Knowing Nintendo lately, they'll try crazy stuff with anything.

Also, I don't see why Nintendo bothered to make Link right-handed in the first place. Its not like Link swinging stuff with his left hand in-game affects my ability to swing the Wiimote with my right hand. Did it really matter all that much in the first place?
But alas, I digress.

Actually, it would seem a little weird to swing one hand while Link swings the other.
At least, that's what Miyamoto said.

Edit: Looking at the new tier list, Pikachu has gotten a huge boost because of his CG on certain characters. Shows how much I suck at Brawl. XD
Makes me want to try harder when I come back to Utah (which is hopefully next month).

..........That artwork did not live up to my expectations...

I can sorta guess where they get the more adult feel (taller, broader, etc), but to me, it still looks too much the same as TP Link.

But the girl looking like the Master Sword is a cool thing. You could probably have a cool story to it, and I think they could work it out. But he will have a sword. It wouldn't make sense, what with Wii-Motion Plus coming out.

And it could be done, making right handed players control a left-handed hero. You just gotta invert everything. But maybe they can justify the right-handedness with "This is a different Link, and he's right-handed"...which to me would be utter bulls***. I'm WAY right-handed, and I want a left-handed Link! It can be done Nintendo!

Well, regardless, I'm just happy we're seeing a mature Link. I heard after TP they wouldn't make another realistic Link, and keep throwing out Toon Link stuff. Super relieved with that picture.

Everything was inverted for Wii. If you went left in a dungeon for the Wii title, you went right in the Gamecube one.

Again...it's for the sake of right-handed people (I'm not sure, but do you lefties have the Wii-mote in your right hand, since the nunchuk has the analog stick, and it's always on the left side of any controller)
