USA majors in 2011 for an international visitor...

So I'm seriously considering coming to a USA major this year seeing as I now have a job and can actually afford it. I was wondering what nationals are actually planned for this year, and if any are in-planning.

So far I see

aaaaand thats it. unfortunately, whobo is out of the question for obvious reasons so I can only see 2 left. These are a little close at the moment so I was wondering if there are any other series of national tournaments planned to be held this year? things like WGF, SNES or some other big one which may not have been planned yet. If there isnt, ill see what I can do about genesis possibly.

Also on that topic, i see genesis is in the american summer. are flights typically more expensive than? Money isnt exactly the issue for me, but there is a large difference between flights in july, and flights in around november which im not sure is because of how close they are to today, or the seasonal variations etc.

nah I'll be going primarily to meet many of the people ive talked to almost daily on #lucario irc for years and the sonic/luc mains from SWF and to play against some REAL pros lol. However I really want to see the Grand Canyon off a visit to Vegas, thats like #1 on my to-do list for life lol.
