Everyone here plays Brawl, so I really want to play new people.

I knew a lot of people that played melee that were going, and so we were gonna go meet up and play melee there But Yatta Dante had to work and with no one to split gas with , I couldn't afford teh trip.

Yes, plenty of people disrespecting the hosts kept throwing melee up every now and then, despite them stating "melee free" before the tournament, as well as during. Oddly enough... It was the same 4-5 people too... Over and over lol.

I don't understand what you mean when saying, "what are you trying to prove"? Stating there was no melee at a brawl tournament? Why not throw up some Mortal Kombat II too =p? Or we could go to a Guitar Hero tournament... And throw up Guitar Freaks in the corner? Wait... That doesn't make sense? It's a Guitar Hero tournament... Not another game.

I don't understand what you mean when saying, "what are you trying to prove"? Stating there was no melee at a brawl tournament? Why not throw up some Mortal Kombat II too =p? Well playing SF or GG at a smash tournament is odd, but playing melee at a brawl tourney seems just fine to me, in fact, I think its dumb not to allow people to play melee at a brawl tournament, thats like saying. NO SMASH 64 AT THIS MELEE TOURNAMENT! Most of the time friendlies on other smash games happen its after the tournament or when people of been knocked out of the tournament completely. I see nothing wrong with it. but I believe that only one game should be played for the tournament day till the end of the tournament or your knocked out, then theres friendly tv's for that, IF there's friendly tv's. but at the smashfest that usually takes place a day before. other smash games are fine. Thats how my next tournament is gonna be run.

Issue with people throw up melee was this: Limited amount of friendly TV's and people were wanting to practice Brawl to get their A game ready before the matchs... But there weren't enough open setups.
