does japan know about the ness infinite chaingrab?
because if this 'ketubato' is a tournament (which I'm pretty sure it is), that marth would probably have used it. or is it banned?

by their speed, it looks like they are
but if you watch their recoveries, it's pretty obvious they aren't

Man, how many people are there anyway, conditioned by some unquestionable force of nature to equate fast movement to actually being any good? These guys may be good or they may simply be fast. Something that is clear though, is that Smashboards is basically full of sheep which jump mainly into bandwagons as opposed to over fences.

UPDATE -

More of SKYb's Falco

SKYb (Falco) VS Hon-chan (Game & Watch)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mGe9P7umYMY

I have more of SKYb VS Gon, but they are too long so I'll have to edit them down.

It's a shame that these videos have created a "Japan better than US" mindset, which is patently untrue, but the purpose of this thread is simply to compare the different play styles of each country, not to say that Japan is better than the US in any way. Just some clarification.

Well, from what I saw in these vids, it looks like the Japanese metagame is leaps and bounds ahead of the American one. American matches tend to be slower, and have more Snake haha.

And I believe PopeofChiliTown hit the nail on the head with the sheep analogy.

Granted, the Japanese have had the game longer than most Americans, but it's still not really an excuse, they're just better than us. Maybe it's because there isn't as much of an anti-Brawl pro-Melee mindset?? Maybe the Japanese don't whine about how two games don't play the same in EVERY ****ing thread and accept that Brawl is slower / less hitstun

Nice vids!

The Ness/Peach vid though, I found to be quite tedious; Some serious neglect for defence from the Ness.

Thanks for uploading :) Bookmarked!
