Up tilt is so good it deserves its own thread.

Discuss your application of up tilt.

sometimes vs like mario and characters with tiny tiny shield grabs ranges i do spaced late nair and then immediately turn around u-tilt

marios and low tiers like to shield grab 'cuz they suck and they're like "well if i eat a shine, it's 5 damage, but if i grab him then it's like a stock or a lot of damage so it's worth trying to get it" so then you tip the nair, then turn around u-tilt, and it's either fairly safe or they get combo'd

not really spammable because his normal pressure is better anyway but kind of a fun trick

Pure quality. Against people who talk mess, I like to shine for knock-back and then move pretty close only to reveal a d-tilt then swiftly u-tilt for maximum stfu points.

i like to keep combos going as long as possible with utilt. (mainly on fast fallers)

use standing, walking, wavedash and dash cancel utilt accordingly to drag out combos. turn around utilts accordingly to trick DI.

Sometimes on heavier chars I get in Nair to utilt..which is always fun. especially since they expect a shine so you get multiple up tilts..i think i should utilt more and experiment with all of its applications.

The only immediate use of uptilt I can think of is.

Vs falcon upthrow uptilt regrab

Vs Spacies CG then uptilt nair charge upsmash

And on get up uptilt vs people occasionally hitting people as they dash for a grab or something.

... I don't use uptilt enough lol

Thank you. I've got this friend that only plays Kirby, which makes SSB64 absolutely unbearable because of his trash talk. That's when I got this nifty little setup which is easily adjustable for both games. :awesome:

What about when you utilt x 3 or 4 to bair or nair? Is there a way to make this combo longer or should I just be doing something different all together?

Could someone elaborate on this? Frontal utilts seemed to have pretty much the same angle and back ones when I experimented with it.
